Membership
Friends of Greenbelt Theatre relies on the generosity of its friends and the community to meet the cost of providing diverse programs and services year-round. As a member, your contribution will go to support our mission, while allowing you to enjoy a wide range of benefits. Membership levels and accompanying benefits can be reviewed here.
As FGT is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, your membership may qualify as a charitable tax deduction. Consult a tax professional for more information. Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase, and must be renewed annually to continue to receive benefits. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
The Old Greenbelt Theatre participates in the Arthouse Convergence Visiting Members Program, giving our members access to member benefits at other arthouse theaters around the country. Click here to learn more and view the participating theaters.

While memberships keep the lights on and the projector running, it’s donations that allow us to do the incredible (often free) programming that the community has come to expect from FGT: guest speakers, workshops, community partnerships, and more!
Your gift to the Friends of Greenbelt Theatre supports our mission to be a hub for film and film education in Prince George’s County and helps take our work to the next level. We are a community gathering place with diverse, accessible, educational programming thanks to our generous donors.
