Virtual Connections for OGT Kids
We’re parents too. We’re feeling the pinch of keeping kids home and safe, but also needing to give them something to do.
Introducing “Virtual Connections for OGT Kids.” Every week, we’ll curate a list of YouTube videos to engage your kids in some aspect of film, along with an activity they can do (alone or with your help).
This week, we’re curating a list of the very best experimental animation available on YouTube, along with a craft to introduce basic concepts of how film and animation work.
Here’s how it works:
- Click here to register. Registration is free, but we suggest a donation of $5 per family to support this program.
- On Thursday morning, you’ll receive an email with a YouTube playlist and instructions on how to complete the craft.
- We’d love for you to take photo or video of the end result of your craft. Please tag Old Greenbelt Theatre on social media if you share with friends, or you can send them to kelly@greenbelttheatre.org!
