Films for Social Distancing

While our physical space is closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we here at the Old Greenbelt Theatre remain committed as ever to serving our community through film programming and education. Join us in a digital space for our “Flick of the Week” designed to keep you connected to film and to the OGT community while we self-isolate and practice social distancing.

This program is specifically designed for families with teens (middle school/high school students).

Here’s how it works:

  1. Click here to register for the Flick of the Week: Teen Edition (FREE)
  2. The film we chose is His Girl Friday (1940). This week’s film can be found on Amazon Prime, Hoopla, and Kanopy.
  3. You’ll receive an email after registering with a writing prompt for your teen. We invite your teen to submit their completed piece for publication on the OGT Spotlight Blog.
  4. You’ll also receive an invitation to a Zoom conference, where you, your teen, and our Monday Matinee attendees can discuss the film with our film experts Caitlin McGrath and Oliver Gaycken. Join us Monday, March 30 at 7:00 pm.

Registration is FREE! But you can make an optional donation to help support our operations to continue programming like this!
