Wheelchair Diaries + Shorts with Guest Speaker – FREE!

Free Human Rights Day Screening

Reid Davenport has cerebral palsy. When he was discouraged from studying abroad during his junior year of college based on his disability, he was more than a bit surprised. Davenport decided to travel with a cameraperson throughout Europe, documenting the lives of Europeans with disabilities and exploring the social impact of inaccessibility. We’re thrilled to be screening this and other shorts by Reid Davenport who will be joining us via Skype for a post-show discussion. See a trailer for WHEELCHAIR DIARIES here and for one of the shorts entitled A CEREBRAL GAME here. This screening is part of our We the People Series sponsored by Maryland Humanities
