Steven Spielberg directs Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks in The Post, a thrilling drama about the unlikely partnership between The Washington Post’s Katharine Graham (Streep), the first female publisher of a major American newspaper, and editor Ben Bradlee (Hanks), as they race to catch up with The New York Times to expose a massive cover-up of government secrets that spanned three decades and four U.S. Presidents. The two must overcome their differences as they risk their careers – and their very freedom – to help bring long-buried truths to light. See a trailer here.

Typically, before people buy tickets they’d like to have a sense of when a “coming attraction” will be shown. If that’s too much to ask, then you might explain why its not possible to list dates.

Why are movies like Showman allowed to play for 3-4 weeks before getting another one. Its not really an incentive to be a member if there is not a quick turnaround of movies.

I agree also. Films should be played for 1 or 2 weeks maximum. Many more members would be joining and the theatre would not be almost empty like it is now for most nights as movies play for weeks on end .

See our reply to Brad above. We usually have movies for 1-3 weeks no longer.

      Hi Brad,

We often don’t have a choice in the matter. We have to negotiate with the studios and sometimes they don’t allow us to get rid of a movie if we want to get another one from the same production company later down the road. Please email us if you have any other questions or concerns.
